As part of our commitment to inclusion, we are committed to making our website as accessible as possible.
Clear Assured was built following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). We test accessibility each time we release a new version.
Built-in adaptations and tools
Clear Assured doesn't come with any built-in accessibility tools.
We appreciate that our users may need adaptations to fit their accessibility requirements on our website. We recommend using the assistive technologies available on their device or installing extra assistive technologies, depending on their needs.
For help with assistive technologies, you may call AbilityNet's free helpline or check out the step by step guides on how to adapt phones, tablets or computers to meet accessibility needs on My Computer My way.
Known limitations
Clear Assured has some accessibility issues that we know about. Most of them are in our backlog, to be fixed as soon as possible.
- The cookie button will remain in the view-port, with a fixed position, even when the cookie prompt is closed.
- Our content is not grouped into regions. The website comes with HTML5 landmarks and it has a proper heading structure, yet we are considering adding regions to improve our structure and ease the screen reader navigation.
